VEO2 is a French-based company which advises C-Level executives on commercial strategy, business growth and financing. VEO2 invests in early-stage technology companies, with an emphasis on those involved in sports.

VEO2’s principal, Ciarán Quinn, is an international business executive with a strong background in sports. He has:

• worked as a C-level executive, including CCO of Deltatre;

• founded companies and helped buy/sell companies and raise investments;

• been on the boards of public and private firms;

• served as an external advisor for technology companies.

 

With global experience in digital media and technology dating to 1995, Ciarán conceived and drove the first ever live legal multinational OTT delivery of the Olympic Games (Athens 2004) before the expression OTT was even coined.

Since 2018 Ciarán has been involved with SkyDeck Accelerator, the University of California at Berkeley organization that has accelerated hundreds of early-stage tech companies.  His engagement with SkyDeck includes being an Ambassador to Europe, a Key Advisor and Mentor for selected companies and founders, a Limited Partner, and a direct investor in companies he has Key Advised. Through this experience he has developed a strong understanding of how a great ecosystem can drive technology growth.  Per Pitchbook, UC Berkeley recently passed Stanford University to be the number one US university for creating venture-backed start-ups.

Ciarán earned an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley (USA) where he was student body

co-President, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

He is a triple Irish, British and US citizen, and has resided in Europe since 1992.
